My own Masters of Arts in counselling training took place in California, USA in 1991. A programme designed to satisfy requirements for a secure professional foundation in individual, relationship family and child therapy. The course design was person centred / humanistic. |

On return from California, I became a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and fully support our Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy. In 2003, I became a registered practicioner of the BACP and also joined the register of the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors for independent counsellors. |

In 2003, I further advanced my professional learning base by completing a UK acclaimed post-diploma Certificate training in Person Centred Therapy Supervision through PCT Britain at Glasgow.
